This Tristar air purifier uses three different filters to purify the air in your home. This way, dust, animal hairs and pollen will be a lot less of a problem and you can breathe freely again!

How do the three filters work?

1. Pre-filter: This is the first filter that passes through the air. It captures larger particles such as hair, dust and other coarse debris. This reduces the load on the following filters and keeps them effective for longer.
2. Activated carbon filter: After the pre-filter, the air passes the activated carbon filter. This filter is specially designed to remove odours and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the air. Think of cooking smells, smoke and other unpleasant odours you would rather not have in your home.
3. H13 HEPA filter: The last filter is a high-efficiency filter that removes microparticles from the air, such as pollen, mould spores, smoke particles and even some bacteria and viruses. This thoroughly purifies the air in your home.

The display on top of the unit tells you the status of the air quality and whether you need to change the filters. The LED lights indicate the air quality via four colours. Thus, it goes from red to orange, green and blue. Red represents lower quality and green represents good quality. So you can see at a glance how clean the air in your home is.
